ELM Reports

ELM reports give IT administrators and managers the flexibility to produce reports from ELM Publisher, a collection of pre-configured reports, or ELM Editor, ELM's new custom reporting engine. ELM reporting provides a sophisticated feature-rich interactive reporting environment.

ELM Publisher provides an easy-to-use interface to select report criteria, schedule reports, and configure data collection. There are more than 30 reports included; each can be scheduled to run during off hours or run online.

ELM Publisher provides the most simplified way to configure your ELM monitoring system. By selecting the report and the computers you want included on the report, ELM will automatically configure the ELM Server to begin collecting the information required for the report.

ELM Publisher reports can be viewed through the ELM Console or a web browser. The URL to the Reports folder is defined during setup by specifying the name of the virtual directory.

Most revolutionary of the new features in ELM Enterprise Manager 5.0 is the ELM Editor. IT Managers demand a tool that gives them the flexibility to generate ad hoc reports for audit support and security forensics and to design reports specific to their needs.

ELM Editor gives unprecedented access to the ELM database (MSSQL Server). Focused on generating clear, concise and easy-to-use reports, ELM Editor supports a drag-and-drop feature that uses existing Filters and Views to create custom reports. ELM Editor then provides a user-friendly query-builder for tuning the report to specific information and design requirements. ELM Editor helps IT Managers stay ahead of security threats, compliance demands and management concerns.

ELM Editor supports customized reports that can be scheduled for regular automatic report generation. Reports can also be delivered using a variety of methods including email.
