SQL Server Monitoring
Using SQL Monitors, you can periodically execute SQL queries against a database and generate notification options if the results returned are different from what is expected. ELM supports SQL Server 7.0, SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 in standalone and clustered environments.
To monitor Microsoft SQL Server, enter any valid SQL query. The query will be executed at the specified interval. If the query fails, or if the results of the query are different from what is expected, a notification option will be executed.
You can use integrated Windows authentication or mixed authentication (Windows and SQL authentication), enabling you to monitor SQL Server without modifying your existing security infrastructure.
