TCP Port Monitoring

Monitor any valid TCP port with ELM Port Monitor. The ELM Server makes the actual connection to the port. ELM monitors the TCP port availability on any operating system, Unix, Linux, Novell, Solaris, etc. Monitor TCP ports on any TCP/IP-capable network device, including switches, routers and telco devices.

An Alert is generated when the port is unavailable, and another is generated when the service resumes normal operation.

Monitor quality of service by specifying a port's expected response time. A warning alert will be generated when the response from the port is below the acceptable quality of service threshold specified.
