Data Profile Tool

ELM Editor includes a Data Profile Tool which gives you a snapshot of event activity including total count of Event types, Event source, Event ID count, and Event Age.

The Data Profile helps an Administrator see the nature of the events collected. For example:

• Are they mostly security events? Or informational events?
• If they're mostly security, what are the security events?
• Are there just 1 or 2 event IDs, or is it more evenly distributed across 5 or 6 event ids.
• What are the oldest and the newest events?
