Microsoft SQL Server Monitoring
Using ELM Enterprise Manager, you can monitor server event logs, send and receive alerts as events occur, collect performance data and system configuration data, and take corrective action when things go wrong. ELM Enterprise Manager includes a special SQL Monitor that can perform query-based monitoring of all versions of Microsoft SQL Server.

ELM Enterprise Manager
- Monitor your SQL Servers' system, security and application events in real-time, and store the events in a database for archiving and auditing
- Collect and store all published performance counters, including SQL-related performance counters, for baselining, trending and capacity planning

ELM monitors SQL Server 7.0, SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 in standalone and clustered environments.
Monitor Microsoft SQL Server using any valid SQL query. The query will be executed on a schedule and you will be notified when the results are different than expected.
ELM supports integrated (Windows NT) authentication or mixed authentication (Windows NT and SQL authentication), enabling you to monitor SQL Server without modifying your existing security infrastructure.
