Community Choice award winners can feel proud that the products and services they develop have earned the respect and recognition of the IT world's most knowledgeable and exacting professionals.” Differences Between ELM Publisher and the New ELM Editor ELM Editor With the release of ELM 5.0 earlier this year a new reporting tool called ELM Editor was introduced. Using ASP.Net to produce and manage reports, ELM Editor provides the flexibility to generate custom ad hoc reports for audit support and security forensics, and to design reports specific to individual needs. ELM Editor also provides access to both the ELM Primary database and any Archive database when ELM creates the Archive generations. These reports can be scheduled and automatically delivered in a variety of ways, including emailed to multiple recipients. The ELM Editor report designer includes: Full featured SQL editor Event View “create report” option Integrated charts Custom HTML and Glossary Sections Multiple sections per report And more ELM Editor makes it easy to combine reports by using simple cut/copy, paste, rename, and delete functions. A drag and drop feature also allows you to initiate custom reports from Event Views and Performance Data Views. Reports can be saved or printed through the context menu and report scheduling allows you to run reports at regular intervals to be delivered via email, saved to a file, or database. ELM Publisher ELM Publisher provides over 30 preconfigured reports which allow you to quickly produce management reports from information collected by the ELM Server. Reports have integrated Monitor Items which allows you to pick the report and ELM knows what data to collect. The ELM Publisher reports module is integrated with both the ELM Console and the ELM Web Viewer, enabling you to use it in both user interfaces; the MMC, and/or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
